These facts already discussed in landmark judgment of Lily Thomas v. Union of India, court observed that where a spouse (husband or wife) would be guilty of bigamy under section 494,IPC. 

A marriage solemnized in India according to personal law cannot be dissolved according to another personal law simply because one of the parties has changed his or her religion.
