PAY, PRAY, REPEAT: DU’S SPECIAL CHANCE EXAM EXPLAINED
CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT FORM ONLINE Delhi University just dropped another one of their classic plot twists in the form of a notification. Yep, they’re giving out a “special chance” exam for all those former students who were admitted between 2012–2019 for undergrad and 2012–2020 for postgrad. Basically, if you’re one of the vintage batches, congratulations – DU remembered you still exist. The exam form opened on 18th August 2025, and the last date is 15th September 2025 (till 11:59 pm, because apparently 11:59 pm makes everything more dramatic). And the cherry on top? Colleges have till 19th September 2025 to verify it. Sounds simple, right?
The Online Portal Struggle is Real: Students are expected to fill out the form online, through a link that looks straight out of a 2007 cyber café: CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT FORM ONLINE 👉 https://durslt.du.ac.in/DuExamForm_CT100/StudentPortal/IndexPage.aspx And yes, you have to select “Fresh_New_Student” even though you probably graduated before Instagram Reels was invented. Irony? 10/10. Colleges and departments also have their own “exclusive” link to verify forms. Because, of course, why make one simple portal when you can create multiple URLs nobody remembers? The Money Talk: Now here’s the real kicker: ₹3000 per paper. Yes, per paper. DU basically said, “Education is priceless, but retakes definitely aren’t.” And just in case you thought you might get cold feet and ask for a refund – nope. Once you pay, that money is gone forever, along with your hopes, dreams, and maybe your will to live. The Big Picture: On one hand, this is a golden opportunity for students who missed clearing exams years ago. On the other hand, it feels like DU just pulled a Netflix reboot – bringing back old characters (you) for one last season nobody asked for. So, dear ex-students, dust off those old books, because DU is basically saying: “Guess what, you’re still not free from us.”
