MCD DELHI PARKING RATES 2025: COMPLETE LIST OF AUTHORIZED PARKING SITES
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has established standardized parking rates across its authorized parking sites throughout the city. These rates are designed to regulate vehicle parking and manage traffic flow across different categories of vehicles and parking zones. All rates mentioned are inclusive of all applicable taxes.
STANDARD PARKING RATES FOR GENERAL MCD PARKING SITES The MCD operates parking facilities under a tiered pricing structure based on vehicle type. For cars, the hourly rate is set at Rs. 20 per hour, with round-the-clock parking available at Rs. 100 for a full 24-hour period. For those seeking extended parking arrangements, the MCD offers monthly passes at Rs. 1,200 for day-only access and Rs. 2,000 for combined day and night parking privileges. Two-wheelers enjoy more economical rates, reflecting their smaller footprint and reduced resource consumption at parking facilities. The hourly charge for motorcycles and scooters is Rs. 10, while 24-hour parking is available at Rs. 50. Monthly passes for two-wheelers are priced at Rs. 600 for day passes and Rs. 1,000 for day and night access. Large vehicles such as buses and trucks fall into a different rate category with duration-based pricing. Parking for 0 to 2 hours costs Rs. 80, increasing to Rs. 120 for durations between 2 to 5 hours. For longer parking periods from 5 to 10 hours, the charge is Rs. 300, and full 24-hour parking is priced at Rs. 500. A monthly pass for these large vehicles is available at Rs. 9,900, catering to commercial operators and regular users. Tempos and auto-rickshaws, classified as equivalent vehicles, have their own rate structure. Short-term parking of 0 to 2 hours costs Rs. 60, extending to Rs. 90 for 2 to 5 hours. Longer parking from 5 to 10 hours is charged at Rs. 200, with full 24-hour parking at Rs. 300. A monthly pass for these vehicles is available at Rs. 6,000. PREMIUM PARKING RATES AT YUSUF SARAI MARKET A specialized parking rate structure applies to the Yusuf Sarai Market area, specifically covering the stretch from the edge of the foot overbridge to Gate No. 2 of Green Park Metro Station at stretch number 1. Other stretches in this area follow the standard Table-A rates. At this premium location, cars are charged Rs. 40 per hour with a maximum cap of Rs. 200 for 24-hour parking. Two-wheelers at this location cost Rs. 10 per hour, with a maximum daily charge of Rs. 50. SPECIALIZED RATES FOR KAROL BAGH PARKING SITES The MCD has implemented differentiated rates for five specific parking sites in the Karol Bagh area under Resolution No. 11 dated May 30, 2019. These sites include Gurudwara Road Parking Site, Arya Samaj-I, Arya Samaj-II, Ajmal Khan Road-I, and Saraswati Marg, all located in Karol Bagh. At these designated sites, the pricing structure for cars reflects more granular duration-based categories. Parking up to one hour costs Rs. 40. For durations extending beyond one hour up to five hours, incremental hourly charges apply, with rates progressing from Rs. 50 for the 1 to 2-hour bracket, Rs. 60 for 2 to 3 hours, and Rs. 70 for 3 to 5 hours. A full-day charge of Rs. 300 is applicable for parking exceeding 5 hours; notably, vehicles are not permitted to park beyond 5 hours at these locations, with the full-day charge of Rs. 300 being enforced for any parking exceeding this threshold. The monthly parking pass at these premium Karol Bagh sites is priced at Rs. 3,000. This tiered approach to parking management reflects the MCD's efforts to optimize parking availability while generating revenue for infrastructure maintenance and city development initiatives across Delhi's diverse neighborhoods.
